Kynetec Expands in South America
Animal health and agriculture researcher Kynetec has opened an office in Nordelta, Argentina, around 30km from Buenos Aires, which will be supported by a team of ten agricultural market research professionals.
The firm, acquired by GfK in 2009 and bought out again in 2015 by an investor-backed management team, employs a team of around 400 research professionals, 250 interviewers and a global network of around 70 associates and partners. At its new office, Ricardo Arribere (pictured) will lead the team as well as Kynetec's operations in the five Southern countries of Latin America - Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. Arribere previously founded and led agricultural market research company Pampas Group, and says clients in the region will benefit from new Kynetec investment in farm track-panel data and monthly farm-gate pricing information.
Stephen Hearn, Kynetec CEO, adds: 'Ricardo will bring the market research expertise and strong client relationships that will enable us to continue to deliver added value to our clients. Collaborating with our current team of six researchers in Brazil, the new operations in Argentina allow us to deliver multi-country custom research projects across this important and dynamic region'.
