Taboola Rolls Out Data Marketplace in Japan
Ad company Taboola is launching its Data Marketplace in Japan, making available third party data from companies such as Eyeota and Lotame in its platform for the first time.
Taboola's predictive engine analyzes hundreds of real-time signals (including location, device type, referral source and social media trends) to match users with the content they are most likely to be interested in consuming next, generating more than one billion 'moments of discovery' (clicks) each month. The company's Data Marketplace pinpoints the best performing third party segments to reach audiences in its Publisher Network. According to the firm, marketers armed with this data will now be able to start additional campaigns targeting specific audiences, and optimize these campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs).
Taboola initially launched its Data Marketplace in the US with partners Oracle Data Cloud, Neustar, Acxiom, Bombora and others. The firm now partners with more than 50 data providers, with each offering specific insights across industries and consumer types to increase campaign performance.
Commenting on the roll-out in Japan, company CEO and founder Adam Singolda (pictured) says: 'We are honored to work with Eyeota and Lotame as our first data partners in APAC. It's our mission to help grow the open web, giving brands an alternative to drive scale in a brand safe environment on publishers sites, and with our data marketplace - we make it even easier to target the right people at the right time'.
