Asian Base for Perseus
Web-based survey research and software company Perseus Development Corporation has announced the formation of Perseus-Asia Ltd. The new, Singapore-based corporation will provide local support for existing Asia-Pacific customers and sales support for new business opportunities.
Perseus' 5-year growth rate is currently 543%, achieved self-funded through consistent and increasing profitability. The company was recently recognized with appointment to Inc. 500's list of the fastest-growing private companies in the US and to Deloitte & Touche's Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists.
Ken Tan will be the Singapore-based President of Perseus-Asia. Mr. Tan's extensive IT industry experience ranges from field service work, pre-sales support work, systems integration, IT product and web application sales. He was previously Vice-President of Sales for Pacfusion Group Holdings, Pte, Ltd, after spells as Sales Director for First Worldwide Technologies, Pte Ltd and as a Managing Director and Systems Integrator for Integrated IT Services, Pte Ltd.
According to President Rich Nadler, Perseus' expansion into Asia-Pacific is 'another strategic investment that allows us to pursue international opportunities, by having a strong management team locally placed and poised to build our business'. VP of International Operations Carl Henning adds: 'This is the first step in our international expansion which will include entry into the UK and Western European markets where we feel there is significant opportunity for our products'.
