Brand Genetics Hires Director of Insight and Innovation
London-based Brand Genetics has appointed former Razor Research and Spinach Research director Lesley Salem as Director of Insight and Innovation.
Brand Genetics, which also has an office in São Paulo and is planning further geographical expansion, studies people's motivations to help clients identify emerging customer needs that will drive growth, while spotting innovation opportunities. Its team is drawn from multiple disciplines such as brand strategy, insight, client side marketing, management consultancy, psychology, neuroscience and fashion.
Salem (pictured) joins from consumer specialist Razor Research where she led the Razor Kids business unit. Before this, she worked for boutique qual research agency Spinach as Director of Sprout, the firm's early years, kids and teens unit; and earlier she held insight roles at Cultivation, FutureBrand, The Body Shop, Headlight Vision and Lever Faberge.
In her new role, Salem will help Brand Genetics continue its global growth and develop its expertise in kids research. CEO Tom Ellis comments: 'We are delighted to welcome Lesley as we continue to build our world-class team. Her creative approach to insight and innovation will help us build enhanced propositions to address client challenges and drive our own growth'.
