Group Presidency for ORC Macro Chief

Opinion Research Corporation has announced the promotion of Frank J. Quirk to President of the Company - he will also remain CEO of the ORC Macro subsidiary, a position he has held since 1980. During his tenure, ORC Macro has increased its turnover from $3m to $115m per annum.

Prior to joining ORC Macro in 1972, Quirk was at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc. He received A.B. and M.B.A. degrees from Cornell University.

According to John F. Short, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Opinion Research Corporation, said, 'Frank is a highly talented professional with a rare and remarkable combination of management qualities: powerful customer orientation, inspirational leadership and operational expertise. Because of his 30-plus years of experience in successfully building a professional services business, he is exceptionally qualified and deserving of this expanded role as President. He will work very closely with me, both in improving our commercial market research business and in developing the overall strategy and direction of the Company'.
