Truesight Consulting Expands to India
New York-based marketing analytics firm Truesight Consulting has opened an office in Delhi, India, where it has hired Rajesh Kumar as Chief Client Officer.
Founded two years ago by David Dixon and Sebastian Shapiro, Truesight offers a combination of technology, data modeling and business intelligence solutions. Last year, the firm formed a strategic partnership with UK-based Marketscience Consulting, to develop a suite of analytics solutions and services for DIY and DIWM (Do It With Me) enterprise customers, as well as for the more traditional Do It For Me (DIFM) client.
Kumar joins with more than twenty years' experience in marketing, strategy, brand building and communications. Most recently, he worked at WPP media agency MEC as Chief Strategy Officer, prior to which he held the same title at ZenithOptimedia. Earlier, he was Head of Marketing at Hindustan, HT Media; President of Planning at Ogilvy & Mather; and he held senior planning roles at Y&R, Lowe Lintas and McCann Worldgroup. In addition, Kumar worked client-side at Gillette and Bharat Petroleum.
Commenting on Truesight's launch in the India market, Dixon said: 'Analytics in India is in the pioneering stages. For Truesight to drive this, it's about being there while it's a growing economy, and inducting strategic, advanced analytics right from the start. The firm is in a unique position to accomplish this through its independent ownership - the company is unencumbered by competing ownership or P&L's - and its radically transparent, end-to-end modeling approach'.
