Flamingo to Launch Cultural Trends Report
Strategic insight consultancy Flamingo is introducing a quarterly cultural trends report called The Frame, designed to help clients navigate cultural change.
The Frame will be officially launched at a ticketed event at the Barbican's Conservatory on 7th March.
Each issue, produced by Flamingo's in-house Futures team, provides analysis over 100 pages, exploring and explaining fifteen trends across categories such as values and relationships, home and lifestyle or media and communications. The reports will examine how these trends are currently apparent within culture, the drivers behind them, and the opportunities they create for brands and businesses across the short and long term.
Trends explored included topical issues such as vegan influencers' aspirational 'clean-eating' vision, versus 'blokey influencers' who are making veganism accessible; sexual wellbeing as a core part of not only physical, mental and spiritual health, but also personal style; and media producers incorporating audience interaction into their gaming, movie and TV releases, tapping collective creativity.
Susie Hogarth (pictured), Head of Futures, comments: 'The Frame was born from a desire to make trends more usable. The Frame is not just another trends report; it's a framework of thinking - a launchpad for innovation, creativity, and better business. Flamingo Futures will use it to underpin our insight and consultancy work going forwards'.
