Havas Media Hires Strategy and Insights MDs
Havas Media Group has reappointed former employee Thomas Minc as Managing Director, Global Strategy, and hired former Nike Director of Consumer Knowledge Ellen Zaleski as Managing Director, Global Insights.
Part of global marcoms group Havas, the division offers a services from digital media planning and buying, content creation and SEO to social media and mobile campaign research and strategy, analytics and modelling. Its Socialyse Influence division was launched in July 2017 to monitor and measure clients' influencer campaigns.
Zaleski and Minc will lead the Group's actionable data-focused overhaul of its processes, media metrics, and tools.
Zaleski joins from footwear and clothing giant Nike where she spent just over eighteen months, and her previous experience includes six years at Diageo and one at Knowledge Networks, now part of GfK. Minc joined Havas in 2010 as a Research Analyst and over seven years climbed to VP Group Director leading Havas Sports & Entertainment, but left in late 2016 to become Managing Director of integrated marketing agency Sopexa USA.
Both report to Global Chief Strategy Officer Greg James, who comments: 'I am excited about Thomas and Ellen joining the global media team, as we've seen a significant appetite from clients to return to the core of media - great insight, clear strategy and brilliant, hard-working media thinking'.
