Contentsquare Launches UX 'Digital Happiness Index'
In the US, user experience analytics platform Contentsquare has launched the Digital Happiness Index (DHI), to help measure the quality of experience brands deliver across their web sites and apps.
The firm analyzes billions of touch and mouse movements using behavioral science and artificial intelligence to recommend actions which increase engagement. The new DHI promises a deeper understanding of a customer's 'digital happiness', via analysis of the same mouse and finger movements, including whether customers are enjoying a smooth experience free of technical performance issues; whether they are engaging with and satisfied with the content; and if visitors are returning to a site frequently. It also defines whether it is easy for customers to navigate and find the products and services that are right for them.
Commenting on the launch, Jean-Marc Bellaiche, Chief Partnership & Strategy Officer, said: 'Our customers wanted a calculation which is unaffected by the many biases inherent to traditional methods of measuring satisfaction such as customer surveys. By creating a metric calculated strictly from customer behavior, the Digital Happiness Index provides companies with a single score, which can be used to track the ROI of digital improvements'.
The firm, which earlier this year raised $60m in a round of growth funding, is online at: www.contentsquare.com .
