Maru/Matchbox Launches Ad Response Solution
In Canada, communities specialist Maru/Matchbox has launched a solution called Creative Insights, combining measurement of implicit and explicit advertising response with benchmarks, for a complete picture of ad impact.
Maru/Matchbox was formed when MARU Group acquired the North American Research Consulting division of Vision Critical, in 2016. The new tool is designed to evaluate any type of ad or brand communication, across all channels, identifying which will work and which 'need more help'.
According to Chief Innovation & Solutions Officer Todd Trautz (pictured), 'Companies spend tons of money on advertising, but only one third of ads work. Making effective ads is about winning consumer's hearts and minds, and the creative accounts for three-quarters of the impact'. CEO Ged Parton describes the launch as 'a key step in delivery against the company's strategy'.
