Smarty Pants Hires Forrester Man as 'Insights Guru'
In the US, youth and family research specialist Smarty Pants has hired former Forrester Research exec Blake Morin as 'Insights Guru', responsible for all stages of custom quant and qual research for key media, food and beverage, and toy and game clients.
The company, which has offices in headquarters in Johnson City, TN and offices in seven other US cities, works on brand positioning, new product development, consumer lifestyle and trend research. Morin (pictured) joins in Boston from Forrester, where as Senior Data Insights Manager he led quant research studies and provided consulting services to social media, technology and financial services clients. Prior to this, he spent more than seven years at C Space (formerly known as Communispace), latterly as a Senior Consultant, leading research design, analysis and reporting, and client service for clients in a variety of industries; and serving as a founding member of the company's Analysis, Insights & Reporting group.
