Kynetec Buys Australia's Neil Clark & Associates
Animal health and agriculture researcher Kynetec has acquired Neil Clark & Associates, an Australian provider of agribusiness data and business intelligence. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Launched 32 years ago by Neil Clark, and owned since his retirement two years ago by long-standing business partner James Finlay (pictured), the firm sources, stores, manages, mines and maps consumer, business and agriculture data across multiple industries in Australia and key international markets.
As well as strengthening Kynetec's data handling capabilities, the buy adds eight professionals to its global team of around 400 market researchers, marketing scientists and data scientists. Finlay will continue in a senior leadership role as part of Kynetec's newest office in Australia, located in Bendigo, Victoria.
Stephen Hearn, Kynetec CEO, comments: 'By combining existing Neil Clark and Kynetec data sets we can enhance our existing portfolio and develop new services, offering even deeper insights to our clients across Australia, New Zealand and the APAC region'.
