Luck Launches ScaleHouse Management Consultancy
Kristin Luck, former President and CMO of US-based quant MR tech firm Decipher and founder of not-for-profit organization Women In Research (WIRe), has set up a management consultancy called ScaleHouse, to guide marketing and analytics firms through all stages of growth.
Decipher acquired Luck's previous firm Forefront Consulting Group in 2007, prior to which Luck helped launch ACNielsen's first online research practice; co-founded OTX (Online Testing Exchange) with partner Shelley Zalis in 2000, and subsequently sold it to Ipsos in 2010. In 2015, she set up her own consulting practice, the Luck Collective, with a focus on helping marketing measurement and tech businesses moving from one stage of growth to the next.
Much like her previous firm, ScaleHouse offers support for companies through every stage of growth, with new services that include support for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and growth financing and recapitalization in partnership with investment bank Oberon Securities, which specializes in M&A advisory and private equity/debt financing services. Luck says ScaleHouse is the first firm in the research industry to provide a comprehensive range of consulting, advisory and investment banking support services.
As part of the launch, consultant Jackie Rousseau-Anderson has joined the company with a background which includes spells at Simmons Research, Experian, JD Power and Associates, Forrester Research and Cogent. More recently, she ran her own growth consultancy, JRA Business Strategies.
Luck comments: 'Through my consulting work with high growth firms in the data, technology and market research verticals over the past four years, I could see that executives need one trusted team for unlocking and executing their company's growth potential. Bringing Jackie on board, obtaining my investment banking license and aligning with Oberon Securities provides new opportunities to make an even greater impact on the growth and, ultimately, successful exit for firms in the marketing and analytics sector'.
