NPD and ForwardKeys Partner for 'Traveller Statistics' Launch
In the UK, retail data specialist The NPD Group has partnered with travel intelligence specialist ForwardKeys to launch its Traveller Statistics platform, with the aim of helping companies better access and understand passenger data.
The new service has been developed by York-based NPD Travel Retail in partnership with ForwardKeys, which processes and analyses more than seventeen million flight booking transactions a day, drawing data from all of the major global air reservation systems, selected airlines and tour operators. Traveller Statistics delivers global scheduled air traffic data, allowing users to access passenger and nationality volume and trend data, across 550 airports at a terminal level. The new product adds to NPD Travel Retail's recently launched service Nationality Tracker, which provides insight into the duty free shopping behaviour of travellers.
