Lotame Names Head of Global Data Solutions

Cross-screen data management platform (DMP) Lotame has relocated Evgeny Popov to its New York office, where it has promoted him to the position of Head of Global Data Solutions, responsible for driving data revenue globally for the Lotame Data Exchange (LDX).

Lotame's services include the identification of most valuable customers and the targeting of prospects with similar profiles, while its aiTV (Audience Intelligence for Television and Video) suite enables marketers to plan and measure ad campaigns using behavioral digital and viewership data. The firm's LDX provides access to four billion data points combined with viewing data collected from millions of Smart TVs across the US.

Popov (pictured) joined the company four years ago in the Sydney, Australia-based role of Director of Platform Solutions (Asia-Pacific), and most recently, he served as Senior Director of Data Solutions (Asia-Pacific), based in Singapore. Prior to this, he worked for social media ad targeting firm RadiumOne as Director of Operations (Asia-Pacific), having previously held senior roles at News Corp Australia and broadcaster Nine.

Reporting to Jason Downie, Lotame's Chief Strategy Officer, Popov will also work closely with the Data Operations team and supervise the Global Data Sales team. Commenting on Popov's promotion, Downie explained: 'In the last few years, Evgeny spearheaded triple-digit data growth in the APAC region, and has been a steady presence in that market, developing relationships with senior agency personnel, DSPs and other market leaders. I am excited for him to pick up the leadership torch and apply his Lotame and market knowledge and experience on a much broader scale,'

With Popov's move to New York, Lotame has hired former Snapchat APAC exec Zuzana Urbanova as Head of Data Solutions for APAC, based in Singapore.
