New NZ Firm Stickybeak to Focus on Chatbot MR
Former Edelman CEO David Brain has co-founded a market research firm called Stickybeak in New Zealand, in partnership with pollster David Talbot, designer Kyle Hickey, and technology specialist Brody Nelson.
Stickybeak offers an online platform for the development of conversational chatbot surveys designed by real researchers. The platform uses characters and animation to engage audiences in quant studies, and Stickybeak recruits respondents through social media. To date, the platform is available in the UK, US, Australia and New Zealand, with more countries to be added.
Brain (pictured) comments: 'Everyone involved in marketing and communications knows that good research can make the difference between success and failure. Yet most will admit privately that they don't use it enough because it's slow, expensive, and involves dealing with research agencies. Stickybeak fixes this and hopefully means better decisions about products, pricing, and design leading to better creative and communications strategies, more effective outputs, and more winning pitches'.
