Logi Analytics Buys Zoomdata
In the US, developer-grade analytics provider Logi Analytics has acquired big data visualization and analytics software platform Zoomdata. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
 Zoomdata specializes in real-time exploration of big data, streaming data, and multisource analysis. Built on open APIs and a microservices architecture, the Zoomdata platform can be deployed in the cloud and embedded in other applications. Nick Halsey, CEO of Zoomdata, says that by joining forces with Logi, many more people will be able to analyze data in seconds, even across tens of billions of rows, within the applications they use every day.
According to Steven Schneider, CEO of Logi: 'At Logi, our vision is to help application teams create smarter software. And with Zoomdata, product managers and developers have native access to cloud data warehouses, big data, and streaming data, plus an expert global partner network.'
