S4Capital Buys Adobe Consultancy BizTech
Sir Martin Sorrell's recently launched marcoms group S4Capital has acquired Melbourne, Australia-based Adobe-led digital transformation and customer experience company BizTech. Terms were not disclosed.
S4Capital was set up by Sorrell in May last year, acquired digital production company MediaMonks and then merged it with programmatic solutions provider MightyHive. Earlier this year, S4Capital expanded its digital content and programmatic capabilities with the acquisitions of Amsterdam and Miami-based film production studio Caramel Pictures and Sao Paulo-based programmatic consultancy ProgMedia.
Its latest buy, BizTech, was founded by Tim Goodman and Michael Patishman in 2008, and helps enterprises with their digital transformation journeys through the use of products including Adobe Experience Management, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Campaign. As well as its headquarters in Melbourne, the firm operates in Sydney, Toronto, Moscow and Astana, employs around 90 people and reports revenue of approximately $AUD 15m.
According to S4Capital, BizTech will be merged with MediaMonks to further strengthen the latter's marketing cloud expertise, while expanding MediaMonks and MightyHive's existing relationship with Adobe. In addition, the merger will establish a footprint for MediaMonks in Australia and Canada. Sorrell comments: 'We are delighted with the proposed deal which will bring Michael, Tim and the entire BizTech team to the S4Capital family. Their highly specialised Adobe expertise and close-knit client relationships make BizTech the perfect partner to accelerate our business in Australia and beyond'.
