Voxco Founder Sells to Investor
Raymond Cyr, the founder of research software firm Voxco, has sold the business to private investment firm Pivoton Capital for an undisclosed sum. Pivoton's Managing Partner Sumit Aneja becomes Chief Executive Officer and Cyr will remain as an advisor during the handover period.
Established more than 25 years ago, Voxco offers an integrated survey platform to collect survey data through multiple channels including web, mobile and phone surveys. The firm says it is 'poised' to strengthen its operations in Canada, the US, Australia and Europe.
New funding provided by Pivoton Capital will be used to recapitalize Voxco, supporting the company's plans for continued growth and expansion into key market segments. Aneja (pictured) says that with the right strategic investment and guidance, the company has the potential to significantly accelerate its growth.
Cyr adds: 'It's a great time in Voxco's history to take on new leadership. There are tremendous market opportunities in the insights industry as all businesses want to better understand their constituents, customers and employees'.
