Cuebiq Adds Privacy Compliance Solution
Consumer intelligence and measurement company Cuebiq has launched a solution allowing clients to provide verifiable proof of their compliance with the EU's GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in their use of its products and services.
Cuebiq provides 'geo-behavioral audiences' for cross-platform ad targeting, real-time campaign optimization and footfall attribution tools, as well as off-line location analytics. Its new 'Consent Management and Data Provenance' (CMDP) solution uses blockchain technology to enable users, partners and customers to provide proof of consent and data origin across all Cuebiq's solutions. Through a simple request, any participant in the network can request third-party validation of any data collected or product delivered by Cuebiq.
As a result, the company will also enable its publisher partners to offer advertisers CCPA-compliant audiences for targeting purposes. CEO and founder Antonio Tomarchio (pictured) comments: 'Currently, data providers are self-certifying their compliance, which erodes consumer trust and puts many apps and advertisers at risk for privacy, brand safety and regulatory issues. We are strongly committed to advancing the industry's expectations of privacy compliance, beyond what is required by regulatory bodies, and Cuebiq's CMDP sets a high bar for data provenance standards going forward'.
