Deloitte's Heat Opens Social Media Trend Analysis Arm
Management consultancy Deloitte has announced that its creative agency Heat has launched a division called Heat AI, using machine learning to uncover online social media trends and conversations.
Heat AI's patented proprietary technology analyzes 100 million posts per day from 50,000 sources, including social media, news sites and blogs. Every half hour, the platform executes a million predictions to identify the trends and keywords that will increase engagement. According to Deloitte, the insight from Heat AI allows agencies to align brands with 'cultural moments', helping with audience targeting, expanding social media engagement and click-through rates, and creating net new audiences.
