Australian Roll-Out for Kantar Smart Speaker Panel
Kantar has expanded its Worldpanel ComTech smart speaker consumer panel, to measure purchasing and usage trends in the Australian market.
The service was launched in the US in November, and Kantar said at the time that European panels would follow in 2019 - these are still scheduled to launch this year. The first dataset from the Australian panel is now available, covering areas including reasons for buying, usage, brand loyalty and switching, satisfaction levels, purchase influencers and barriers, as well as specifically looking at how purchase of a speaker changes behaviour in terms of music listening and smartphone usage.
Worldpanel ComTech already provides data on smartphones, laptops, tablets, wearables, TVs and home appliances, via panels in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
