Canada's CRIC Launches Verification Service
New professional association the Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC) has launched the Research Verification Service, to help potential respondents check the legitimacy of research projects they are invited to participate in.
The service is included as a member benefit, with all member companies added and able to begin registering their projects. Non-members who agree to follow CRIC's standards can also pay a fee to use it, and members of the public can use it to share their feedback.
Barry Watson, Chair of CRIC, comments: 'All companies conducting market research in compliance with the CRIC standards are encouraged to register their projects. The CRIC Research Verification Service is an essential tool in helping the public gain confidence that a request to participate in market research is legitimate'.
Details of the service can be found online at www.cric-rvs.ca .
