SurveyHealthcare Buys OMR Globus
Healthcare data collection and custom survey solutions provider SurveyHealthcare (SHC) has acquired OMR Globus, a full-service, pharma/healthcare data collection agency and sample provider. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
 OMR Globus was founded in 2012, has locations in Canada and Europe, and provides a full suite of data collection services across the healthcare space to MR agencies, independent consultants and other data collection firms. The company also runs panels across nearly a dozen countries, providing access to healthcare professionals, including hospital and office-based physicians across all specialties, NP/PAs, nurses, dentists, vets, pharmacists, payers and many other key roles.
By integrating the company, SHC will scale its existing capabilities in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain, while providing new reach into Poland, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland. Additionally, OMR Globus will provide first-time access for SHC in Brazil and Mexico. As part of the deal, OMR Globus' team of fifteen healthcare project managers will join SHC's existing global operations, doubling its European-based project management team. The combined staff will be led by SHC founder and CEO Jerry Arbittier (pictured), with OMR Globus' founding Partner Damir Fazlic remaining with the firm.
