RP Translate Gets Funding for Tech Projects
UK-based specialist insight translation agency RP Translate has closed a £150,000 ($195,000) round of funding, earmarked for the creation of bespoke translation technology for global market research projects.
Founded in 1997, Bristol-based RP specialises in providing bespoke MR language solutions for research agencies, corporate insight departments, marketing consultancies and drug manufacturers. Key areas of specialisation include healthcare and pharma, employee relations, business intelligence and consumer / brand relations.
The new funding will be used for 'significant improvements' to the agency's IT infrastructure, including the creation of an instant quoting system, the implementation of a fixed pricing model for language services and establishing APIs between quality assurance tools. The implementation process is taking place in three phases, expected to be completed by the end of Q2 2020.
CEO Ruth Partington (pictured) comments: 'Innovation has time and time again been proven crucial to success in business. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity that this funding brings to change the game in insight translations and deliver unprecedented value to our clients .
