Target Data Acquires Social Media Agency Social Fulcrum
In the US, full-service performance marketing agency Target Data has acquired social media agency Social Fulcrum, which uses data to identify key messages and audiences for Facebook and Instagram advertising. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Boston-based Social Fulcrum was co-founded in 2013 by Andrew Krebs-Smith and Noah Freeman, employs twenty people, and claims to be the largest global spender on Facebook store-visit and offline conversion ads. The firm's processes include structured testing, audience optimization, funnel and multi-touch analysis, and lift attribution analysis.
As part of the deal, Social Fulcrum will become a business unit of Target Data, responsible for all paid social media execution; and the entire Social Fulcrum team will remain in place, supporting the broader Target Data organization. Ross Shelleman (pictured), founder and CEO of Target Data, comments: 'Social Fulcrum's ability to utilize data and technology to drive ROAS for their clients is unmatched. Adding their expertise further strengthens Target Data's data-driven approach to Facebook and Instagram. We could not be more excited to welcome their team and clients to the Target Data family.'
