Awards Launched for Indian MR Profession
The Indian MR industry is getting its 'first ever' awards for excellence, the MRSI Golden Key Awards, courtesy of trade association The Market Research Society of India.
Winners will be announced at an event on 19th December in Mumbai, in fourteen different categories, reflecting contributions towards the growth of clients' businesses and the industry at large. The evaluation process will be carried out by a jury composed of agency execs, client insights heads and business heads, in two stages: a blind review, followed by 'the most rigorous and transparent process'.
Global CMI Director of Unilever, Manish Makhijani comments: 'We want to applaud and recognise great work that is being done in the industry which is fuelling the growth of different client organisations. And so, we have multiple different areas in which we want the work and people doing the work to be recognised - from new product development to communication to technology and even in social development research'.
MRSI President Sandeep Arora says the Awards are intended 'to celebrate and acknowledge world-class contribution made by research and insights-led data scientists across India', and adds:'...this one-of-a-kind occasion will witness a lot of fun and celebration too! We are really excited about it!' Former President Pravin Shekar comments: 'Creativity needs a spark and what better way than to recognize those amongst us, who have gone the extra mile. Such awards will inspire us to go beyond our comfort zone and DO more, for ourselves, our industry and the nation'.
Nominations open tomorrow and must be submitted by the following Wednesday, 20th November. Web site: https://mrsi.co.in/mrsi-golden-key-awards .
