Arrivalist Launches Hotel Guest IQ Intelligence Platform
Travel industry location intelligence platform Arrivalist has launched a solution called Guest IQ, to help hotels understand the real-world movement of their guests, as well as the market, and the competition.
From its headquarters in New York City, and offices in San Francisco and Toronto, Arrivalist provides insights on consumer behavior, competitive share, media effectiveness and market trends. Its new Guest IQ location intelligence platform uses multiple mobile location datasets combined with an understanding of behavioral context, to help clients measure weekly or daily share against specific named competitive hotel chains. The solution measures repeat visits made by guests and competitor's guests; and helps determine share of guests from key feeder markets, while comparing the geographic composition of guests with those of the competition.
Guest IQ also measures what guests do when they're in the market, by monitoring visitation with points of interest including retail, attractions, sporting events, convention centers and more. In addition, the solution can provide an understanding of media effectiveness by analyzing the behavior of media exposed customers, regardless of booking channel.
Commenting on the launch, Chief Revenue Officer and General Manager Arlo Laitin (pictured) said: 'Hotels typically have a clear view of their overall market share and revenue metrics, but it's difficult to gain insights on the actual behavior of their guests, both at their own properties, and of competitors. By analyzing location data, we provide hotels with a more holistic understanding of who their guests are, where they come from, and what they do while in market.'
