AppTek Merges with CX Tech Firm Ignite-Tek

In the US, human language technology developer AppTek has merged with customer experience (CX) tech firm Ignite-Tek, which helps eCommerce companies gather customer feedback.

Ignite-Tek's LucidVueCX market research platform helps marketers gather consumer feedback, and analyzes all exchanges including: phone calls, social media, and e-mails, and then presents the client with a more complete view of company brand loyalty. According to the firm, this technology compliments or replaces focus groups, surveys, and polls.

AppTek says that the acquisition complements its own offer, which focuses on automatic speech recognition, machine translation, NLP, machine learning and artificial intelligence. As part of the deal, terms of which have not been disclosed, former Ignite-Tek CEO Michael Ferzacca (pictured) joins AppTek as Chief Operating Officer.
