NPD Group Appointment
The NPD Group has appointed Marc Johnson as VP of product development and data management for NPD Techworld, its technology tracking division. Johnson worked previously at online consumer discussion analysts Buzzmetrics and at Jupiter Media Metrix.
Johnson will be responsible for developing the Techworld product suite, his two previous roles having been in strategic planning and marketing.
According to Sima Vasa, president of NPD Techworld, 'Marc's proven track record in the creation, management and marketing of information based services, combined with his desire to advance the company through the strategic deployment of technology, will be a tremendous asset'.
