Atos Buys Data Analytics Specialist Maven Wave

French IT services consultancy Atos has agreed to acquire US-based Maven Wave, which specializes in data analytics and machine learning in hybrid and multi-cloud platforms. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Headquartered in Chicago, Maven Wave's capabilities use data science to uncover competitive insights. The firm also offers marketing analytics services for segmentation, lead scoring, targeting, and churn and attribution analysis; and it conducts geospatial analytics using Google's cloud. The company has more than 330 employees and will generate approximately $130m revenues in 2019.

Atos says that the deal will strengthen its own Google cloud partnership in North America, and in the more than twenty countries where the alliance is operating.
