DVJ Insights Hires for Consulting Team Integration

Netherlands-based full service agency DVJ Insights has brought in long-time GfK exec Michèle van Waterschoot to support the integration of its International Consulting teams, which operate in the Netherlands and the UK.

Michèle van WaterschootFounded in 1996 as a music research specialist, DVJ now offers a broader range of services, with an emphasis on branding, communications, media and shopper research. The company has its own panels in Europe, as well as virtual shopping and packaging research facility MediaLAB. DVJ's goal is to have one 'strong' consultancy team operating from both the Netherlands and the UK, and van Waterschoot (pictured) will support this goal.

Most recently she set up her own consultancy, Models in Mind, after more than eight years at GfK, where she latterly served as Global Head of the Modularized Brand Experience portfolio, following a spell as Head of Brand and Customer Experience. Before this, she worked as General Manager of ad campaign research firm Daphne Communication Management, prior to its acquisition by GfK in 2007.

Commenting on van Waterschoot's appointment, CEO Lucas Hulsebos said: 'Where Michèle and DVJ meet is the belief that the foundation for growth lies in the development and involvement of all people without limitations of national borders. With Michèle we are hiring someone who can mean a lot in the further development of both the Netherlands and the UK, as well as for our other growth ambitions from next year onwards'.
