Language Insight Brings in Strategic Operations Leader

In the UK, translation and language services provider Language Insight has appointed Federica Meacci as Strategic Director, responsible for all strategic operations across the business including the project management and translation teams, as well as other support functions.

Preston, Lancashire-headquartered Language Insight specialises in transcription, translation and interpreting for a wide range of sectors and industries. Meacci joins the firm's London office after seven years at specialist market research sector translation and communication services firm Language Connect, where she latterly served as MR Operations Director. In this role, she coached and developed five teams, and established international offices, while driving system migration and new technology testing across the organisation. Earlier, she was an Italian translator and interpreter.

In her new role, Meacci will also be responsible for streamlining processes. Commenting on the appointment, MD Donna Twose said: 'We are delighted that Federica is joining Language Insight. She brings a wealth of experience which we feel will strengthen our position within the translation industry.'
