Bjørn Haugland to Lead Itracks Europe
Online data collection specialist Itracks (Interactive Tracking Systems Inc.) is to establish a European office and has announced that Bjørn Haugland, founder of online software pioneers FIRM, will lead the initiative as President of Itracks Europe.
Working from Oslo, Haugland will put his considerable experience in international business to work for Itracks in the areas of business development and strategic partnerships.
Haugland founded Feedback Research in 1985, developing it into one of the largest research companies in Norway before selling it to Research International; and FIRM (Future Information Research Management), now considered a global leader in online market research, in 1996 (the same year as Itracks). Haugland says he has always been impressed with Itracks' growth, level of innovation and the quality of their services.
According to Dan Weber, Itracks' President and CEO, the European initiative represents an exciting new phase for his company: 'We are particularly pleased to welcome Bjørn to Itracks. His entrepreneurial spirit and experience in growing such a reputable company as FIRM will be a great asset to us'.
