Xiklab Expands to Myanmar and Singapore
Philippines-based digital marketing agency Xiklab Digital has expanded in Southeast Asia, with the launch of operations in Myanmar and Singapore.
Xiklab helps clients to engage audiences through trendsetting media content, web sites and in-depth customer communication, with services including digital audits to understand brand positioning in relation to competitors and the category 'landscape', along with brand analysis to understand key aspects that can be used to drive market returns.
The new Myanmar operation is a joint venture with the Myanmar Golden Star Group (MGS), and is called 'Hello Xiklab Yangon' (HXY). MGS operates across sectors including beverages, banking and microfinance, hospitality, real estate, commodity trading, farming, rubber manufacturing and media, and the HXY services will provide Xiklab's complete range of services to the MGS Group of companies, as well as other clients outside the group. In Singapore, the company already works with several direct clients, as well as with locally-based partner agencies who outsource content production, social media management, and many other services to the firm's existing Philippine hub.
Commenting on the expansion, co-founder and Group CEO Arthur Policarpio (pictured) said: 'Xiklab Digital's unique competitive advantage lies in our big pool of high-caliber digital talent based in the Philippines. Aside from the cost advantages offered by the competitive labor costs in the country, the Philippines is a relatively sophisticated digital and social market in Southeast Asia, thus giving our digital talent extensive experience and expertise that can be exported to the rest of the region'.
