Kantar Rolls Out eCommerce On Shopper Understanding Study
Kantar has rolled out a global study called eCommerce On, offering a shopper-centric understanding of eCommerce across various countries and categories.
eCommerce On delivers insights from over 100,000 eCommerce shopping trips and more than 33,000 online shoppers, across eighteen countries. The new study aims to provide an eCommerce category overview and underlying online shopper data, while uncovering the mindsets and motivations that drive shopper behaviour. It also provides insights drawn from comparisons of eCommerce platform performance against online shopper expectations.
Commenting on the study, Kantar EVP Sushmita Balasubramaniam (pictured), who serves as South Asia Domain Lead, said: 'This study has shown us that online shoppers in India are no different from their counterparts in more developed countries - both in terms of their needs as shoppers and why they shop online. The report throws light on how shopping missions and related shopper needs and currencies play out across fifteen categories that are shopped online today'.
