New Screen Role for Connery
US flat panel display research agency DisplaySearch has announced its sixth key hiring in less than four months. Christopher P. Connery, the former head of monitor product management and marketing for NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display, joins as vice president of monitor market research.
Connery brings ten years of experience with LCD computer displays, including product development, line management, and marketing. At NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display he was director of marketing and product management developing strategies for LCD and CRT computer monitors, and large format LCD display applications such as digital signage and flight information displays. He worked previously for market leader NEC Technologies and Zenith Data Systems.
In his new role, Connery will track, trend and forecast monitor market dynamics, providing in-depth data and analysis for monitor technologies; and will be responsible for enhancing DisplaySearch's custom consulting services.
According to DisplaySearch president Ross Young, 'Chris' substantial knowledge in the monitor space, as well as his experience in writing for a number of industry publications and speaking at many industry conferences, will provide exceptional value to our customers'.
