MRBA Calls for Charity Auction Donations
UK industry charity the Market Research Benevolent Association (MRBA) is asking for donations for its annual auction, which provides funds to research industry execs and their families who have fallen on hard times.
Founded in 1977, the MRBA is the sector's only registered, independent UK charity, funded entirely by donations, and lending its support to those who have worked in the industry and are facing financial difficulties. Since its formation, MRBA has supported more than 1,000 colleagues and given out over £1m, and last year's auction - the association's key fundraising activity - raised £9,313.
Open to everyone, this year's event will run until 23rd March. Among the lots on offer, individuals can bid for tickets to see comedian Romesh Ranganathan; champagne afternoon tea at the Wolseley; membership of the AQR; a stay in Lanzarote; and two hours of phone consulting with Cambiar, the management consultancy dedicated to the MR industry. In addition, SampleNinja co-founder Tariq Mirza has once again offered to cook a curry for six people, prepared in the successful bidder's own home.
To pledge an auction donation at any time please e-mail: linda.henshall@newfieldwork.co.uk, or go to: www.32auctions.com/MRBA2020 to make a bid.
