Funds and New Product for Tech Insights Firm Pulse
Research platform and interactive community Pulse has raised $6.5m in a Series A round of funding, which it will use to scale its platform, expand the engineering and content teams, and accelerate product innovation. The firm has also launched a product recommendation engine called Product IQ.
San Francisco-based Pulse offers a platform giving access to more than 15,000 CIOs and tech execs, and uses this to gather, analyze and distribute intelligence across subjects such as IT preparations for remote work, security measures such as multi-factor authentication, and how to implement AI and machine learning across a business. The new Product IQ solution offers personalized, granular product recommendations based on a company's specific needs.
New funding has been led by AV8 Ventures. CEO and co-founder Mayank Mehta (pictured) comments: 'By bringing together innovation decision-makers from companies all over the world and incentivizing them to share their knowledge and network on a daily basis, Pulse is powering a new kind of effective and dynamic information hub and we're thrilled to expand our impact with this new funding'.
