IntegriChain Buys Cumberland Life Sciences Division
In the US, life sciences data company IntegriChain has acquired the Life Sciences division of healthcare consulting and services firm Cumberland, for an undisclosed sum.
The division provides pricing-related managed services, advisory services, analytics solutions and systems integration to support therapy commercialization. According to IntegriChain, the buy will help it to deliver the industry's 'most comprehensive and scalable data and business process platform', to uncover payer, provider, pharmacy and patient journey insights for life sciences customers.
The division's leadership and employees have joined IntegriChain, creating a global workforce of more than 350 professionals. This includes Jeff Lee, former Managing Partner of Cumberland's Life Sciences division and now IntegriChain SVP of Account Management and Sales.
IntegriChain co-founder and CEO Kevin Leininger (pictured) says the buy reinforces the firm's position 'to help manufacturers drive access and maximize their commercialization success throughout the brand life cycle, from pre-launch through growth'. He adds: 'We now deliver the industry's first and only data and managed services platform that unifies all of the critical business functions for commercialization and market access - contracts and pricing, gross-to-net, channel, and patient services - unlocking payer, provider and pharmacy insights for our customers'.
