Basis Research Expands to Chicago

British-based full service insight consultancy Basis Research has opened an office in Chicago, where it has appointed brand insights and strategy specialist Katie Buckley as Managing Partner.

Founded in 1990 and headquartered in London, Basis delivers bespoke ad hoc and tracking solutions for clients across sectors including media and entertainment, retail, financial services, FMCG and fashion. The firm also has an office in New York and Los Angeles.

Buckley (pictured) joins to lead the new Chicago office after nearly a total of fifteen years at ad and brand research firm Hall & Partners, where she latterly served as Global Head of Qualitative. During her time with the firm, she held a variety of roles across qual and quant in three locations - Chicago, London and NY - including Managing Partner in New York.
