Richard Windle Back at Ipsos
Ipsos has announced that Richard Windle will be returning to the company after 18 months at BMRB and joining Liz Landy as joint MD of the media and social division Ipsos-RSL. He will focus on the NRS and RAJAR contracts as well as the company's expanding social and public sector business.
Windle has over twenty-five years of media and social research experience. He began as a graduate trainee at RSL and has worked in Audience Appreciation at the BBC, sampling and statistics at AGB, technical consultancy for the Outdoor Advertising Association and Internet audience measurement at Ipsos joint venture MMXI. Since late 2002 he has been working for BMRB on TGI and media research.
According to Windle, his return comes at a 'particularly exciting and challenging time in the development of the industry contracts for which Ipsos is responsible'. Landy, who will continue to be responsible for BARB and all media syndicated and ad hoc work, says that Windle's 'extensive media experience and technical expertise will complete the team and ensure we remain at the forefront of the media research industry both in the UK and internationally'.
