Taimer Raises $1m for Expansion in UK, US and Finland

Business intelligence reporting specialist Taimer has raised $1m in a pre-seed round of funding, which it will use to scale its business management solution and for expansion in the Nordics and other selected markets.

Founded in 2013 by Eero Saarinen, Jyväskylä, Finland-based Taimer has created software to help businesses with functions such as sales CRM, project management, collaboration, invoicing and time tracking. Its BI solutions allow clients to share insights into historical and current data and provide predictive views of the future, while analysing data on customers stored in a CRM system.

New funding has been led by venture capitalist Trind VC (Nordics), TAO Ventures (Australia) and FiBAN (Finnish Business Angels Network), with participation from several other groups and angels from the UK, US and Finland. In addition, funding was provided by Business Finland.
