V12 Tool Tracks Automotive Shoppers without Cookies
In the US, purchase intent insight provider V12 has launched a cookieless solution that captures the online browsing and behavior data of in-market automotive shoppers, in real time.
V12 comprises three sub-brands: customer data platform V12 Velocity; V12 Data, offering access to more than 215 million consumer contacts; and V12 Signals, which connects customer identities to mobile devices. In March, the firm launched a solution called Signals WebID, which uses ID graph technology and the firm's range of consumer data assets to pinpoint 'purchase intenders' visiting their web sites.
The new solution - V12 Signals Online for Automotive - creates cookie-less audience clusters of consumers who are in-market to buy a car, down to the brand and model level. Name, address, demographics and VIN data are then appended using V12's ConsumerPlus and AutoID VIN databases. Campaigns can then be rolled out across various channels and results measured by matching the audience to sales at the dealership.
Company President Anders Ekman (pictured) comments: 'V12 Signals Online provides visibility into the crucial stages when consumers are beginning their purchase journey online. Brands can actively market to consumers from the initial phase of interest and throughout key moments across the entire customer journey. We are thrilled to offer this solution to brands at a time when brands need every competitive advantage to thrive in today's economic climate'.
