Conversation Intelligence Firm Chorus.ai Raises $45m
In San Francisco, 'conversation intelligence' platform Chorus.ai has raised $45m in a Series C round of funding, which will be used to expand the firm's go-to-market team and invest further in product innovation.
The firm, which also has offices in Tel Aviv, Toronto and Boston, was set up to understand what influences conversation outcomes and help clients learn from and influence the thousands of conversations their teams take part in. This analysis then serves as the foundation of a coaching strategy for sales and customer success teams, while providing insight into the voice of the customer across the entire organization - along with other market intelligence.
New funding has been led by Georgian Partners, with participation from existing investors Emergence Capital and Redpoint Ventures, and new investor Sozo Ventures, bringing the total raised to date to $85.2m. Simon Chong, Managing Partner at Georgian Partners, comments: 'Chorus' vision of a connected conversation intelligence that can enrich any CRM with AI-driven intelligence captured from customer conversations at scale, is why we invested early. Those rich AI-driven insights, integrated directly into the CRM and sales workflow, are already helping some of the world's most respected and fast-growing companies win more deals'.
Led by recently appointed CEO Jim Benton (pictured), the firm is online at www.chorus.ai .
