Andersson Named Confirmit Chief Product Officer

Research software firm Confirmit has appointed former Dapresy CEO Tobi Andersson as Chief Product Officer, leading its product strategy and vision.

Earlier this year, Norway-based Confirmit was sold to Nordic private equity fund Verdane, following a long-running battle with its billionaire owner Alexander Vik. Verdane was an investor in data visualization reporting firm Dapresy, and has since merged the firm with Confirmit.

Andersson (pictured) takes on the Chief Product Officer role with more than twenty years' experience in the global market research sector; initially as VP of Hermelin Nordic Research, and then co-founding Dapresy in 1999. In his new role, Andersson will be responsible for the integration of the Confirmit Horizons and Dapresy platforms, working with customers, partners and the combined product development team to create a single platform. In a statement, Andersson said combining both solutions into one will deliver a roadmap that will differentiate the company from anything else on the market.
