Dynata Buys Searchable Insights Platform Sharpr
Panels and first-party data firm Dynata has acquired Salt Lake City and Chicago-based searchable insights platform Sharpr, for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2011, Sharpr offers a platform to collect, analyze and share market and competitive intelligence. The platform uses AI to uncover relevant content, and helps insight teams syndicate content from different sources, sharing real-time insights with internal and external audiences and stakeholders.
Dynata says it will integrate Sharpr's capabilities into its own insights platform, to deliver a single connected solution through which to manage each step of the research and marketing process - with Sharpr's custom publishing and distribution tools helping to ensure that research investments can be shared and acted upon.
Gary Laben (pictured), CEO of Dynata, comments: 'Our mission is to bring the voice of the customer to the entire marketing continuum, from strategy, innovation, and branding to advertising, measurement and optimization. This acquisition furthers that mission by ensuring that the research powering that continuum can be organized and shared with stakeholders, extending the value of those insights'.
