Rebranding for NFO Research
NFO WorldGroup has announced that it has rebranded its core US business, historically known as NFO Research, as TNS NFO, following the July 2003 acquisition of NFO by TNS. Other operating units of NFO WorldGroup have been similarly renamed to reflect their new association with TNS.
The rebranding is intended to reinforce the integration of the two companies, while harnessing the long-established brand equity of NFO. TNS NFO will continue to operate its established managed access panels, with over 1.5m US households and over 3m individuals represented within them.
TNS NFO will be identified through a new logo as well as the adoption of TNS' positioning of 'the sixth sense of businessTM'. TNS NFO headquarters will remain in Toledo, OH, while headquarters for the entire TNS North American operation will be divided between Greenwich, CT and Horsham, PA.
According to Jon Harding, President of TNS NFO, 'As the market research industry evolves, companies are changing the way they use market information. We will continue to be at the forefront of this evolution... We have made huge strides in aligning our business solutions, resources and people into a unified organization under one brand umbrella, which will support TNS NFO's initiatives effectively at all levels and in every market that we serve'.
