AMC Global Adds Six
In the US, custom research firm AMC Global has added six new staff: Caitlin Connor as Associate Project Director, Robin Franke as Research Director; and Doug Galante, Reene Kalola, Mariah Kern and Nichole Smith.
Headquartered in Blue Bell, PA, the company specializes in launch strategies and brand tracking, offering a suite of products including the proprietary PFU (Purchaser Follow-up) tool, which captures insights from real purchasers of new or restaged products immediately following launch, and a number of others built upon it which help brands optimize products for launch and 'deeply understand' purchaser and shopper perspectives.
Connor began her career at Ipsos and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Boston College with a focus on management and business analytics. She will focus on custom research for some of AMC's CPG clients. Franke brings expertise in both qual and quant, and is described as 'a senior leader who is eager to help shape the firm's junior talent'. She worked previously as an insights lead for Gongos, and holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from University of Tampa.
Galante, Kalola and Smith join as Senior Research Managers. Galante has worked agency side for Foresee and Gongos, and for clients including Kmart and Walt Disney, and will work on a variety of accounts within the consumer healthcare and CPG sectors. His qualifications include an MBA with a concentration on international business. Kalola joins from Ipsos, and will provide strategic consulting to AMC's CPG clients across a number of methodologies. She holds a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Smith has spent the last twelve years at Gongos, and in addition to managing all aspects of research engagements will be responsible for client management and team development. She holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Adrian College.
Kern, who joins as an Associate Project Director, is a recent graduate who will support a team of researchers on all aspects of project management, mostly in the CPG industry. Her bachelor's degree is in Marketing Management, from Temple University.
CEO Ken Roshkoff says of the hires: 'Everyone on our team works collaboratively to ensure that our clients succeed in all aspects of their business. Our new team members each bring a unique and complementary set of research and business skills that can help to advise our clients on the best course of action in a quickly changing environment'.
