Former Hall & Partners CFO Joins Delineate Board
UK-based insights and marketing analytics firm Delineate has given former Hall & Partners exec Deepa Shah a seat on its Board, as Chief Financial Officer and Non-Executive Advisor.
Founded in 2016 by former BT research head James 'JT' Turner, Delineate combines opinion research, data science and artificial intelligence to deliver real time data and customer and audience insight to B2B and consumer marketers and communicators. Last month, the firm expanded to the US with the appointment of former System1 exec Jeff McDonald as CEO of the Americas.
Shah (pictured) joins the Board with twenty years' experience working for global businesses within the marketing services, creative communications and technology sectors, including CFO positions at subsidiaries of ad holding groups Omnicom and Publicis. Most recently, she worked for digital business transformation company Publicis Sapient, before which she spent nineteen years at Omnicom-owned brand communications and research agency Hall & Partners, latterly as CFO - EMEA & APAC. Shah is currently a portfolio CFO through her consultancy Lab Eight, which provides CFO and Board advisory support for businesses in healthcare communications, creative services, market research and insights, and technology.
Commenting on the appointment, COO Ben Leet said: 'Delineate is scaling rapidly, both in the UK and now with our expansion into the US, and as a result our operating model is beginning to change. Adding Deepa to our Board will provide a tremendous amount of support and experience to our business as we go through the next growth phase, and we are delighted that she has joined the team'.
